Packing…HELP!

So today I decided to jump in and really try to get my stuff packed or at least mostly packed. What have I gotten myself into?!? First off my room now looks worse than it ever has. Second I’m not sure I have actually gotten anything packed at all. Third I somehow managed to misplace my bed.

I have looked all over the internet and I can’t seem to find any tips that will really help me. If you guys could give me some it’d be great. Please and thanks xoxo

First Step Towards Organization!

Not long after my first post today I finally made the decision to place my order for an Erin Condren Life Planner. After checking them out and watching sooooo many reviews online I decided it may be something I could actually use.

When you first look at them they seem pretty expensive. That is until you see what comes in it. For classic designs it starts at $50 for 12 months or 18 months for an extra $5. Now for a planner that seems outrageous. But hear Erin out.

If you look on the site she gives links to some of her YouTube videos that tell about her products. I watched two of these but what I found really helpful was watching other peoples videos where they showed their new life planners.

Each planner is customizable. You can get your name and the year or pretty much whatever you want and it can be divided into two lines. You can also change the colors of the pattern you choose.

They also have so much to offer inside. When you open it each month is sectioned off by a laminated tab. Then for each month it has a two page spread as well as a space on the side for goals and to-dos and lines along the bottom for anything else you want to write.

Then one of the best parts is when you turn the page to the weekly view. Each day is separated into three section: morning, day, night. Now I know a lot of people don’t like this because they don’t schedule their lives that way. But the thing I have noticed a lot of people doing is using Washi Tape to decorate theirs and even rename the sections. Another nice part about the weekly view is its color coded. If the month ends on a Thursday then Friday will be a different color signifying that it’s a new month.

Not only does it have the calendars but as you keep turning the pages it also has several lined pages for notes as well as several unlined pages for doodling.

Now I know this just seems like a high quality planner but not a $50 planner. Well that’s not all that comes in this planner. Not only can you add your own stickers but it also comes with stickers! It has a sheet of 60 “Birthday!” stickers that come in four colors. The next page has another 60 of various other stickers for different appointments and other things like that in four different colors. And then you get two pages, 120 stickers that are blank for whatever you want to write on them and they are also color coded!

And then as you continue to flip through it has a two sided “Keep It Together” folder. This is perfect for keeping all of your papers in as well as your perpetual calendar and contacts book that is included in your order! This is amazing because now you no longer have to rewrite all of your important contacts and birthdays each year instead you can just move it from planner to planner.

And as if all of this doesn’t make it seem like its worth $50 then you need to keep flipping and you’ll find a clear ziplock pouch. This is great to keep pens or pencils in. And as an added bonus Erin throws in a couple of little cards as well as a couple gift tags.

Now I know this is a lot of information, but I’m really excited about this planner. I haven’t received it just yet, but when I do I will definitely do a full review. Also I am not sponsored at all by Erin Condren. I am just a girl that has watched product videos and decided she wanted one herself.

I hope you guys keep coming back for my organization tip and products. And make sure you watch for my life planner review! Thanks for reading!

College Bound!

As the weeks leading up to me leaving home for college keep passing by I have found myself searching the internet for way to keep organized. Now let me start by saying I am NOT an organized person in the slightest. In fact I don’t remember the last time my clothes were in my closet and not on my floor. Not to say I’m a dirty person it’s just I easily get distracted for the OCD ways that I try to follow.

That’s why I’m writing this. Hopefully talking about organization leading up to my departure will allow it to sink in enough to last more than two weeks. We all know how that is. First day of school with fresh notebooks and brand new pens, you want to keep everything this neat and perfect. Then around the time of your first test you are panicking because you are sure you shoved the study guide in the blue folder even though it’s no where to be found.

Well I have been in your shoes and I know that I shoved my study guide in the blue folder despite finding it crumpled in the bottom of my purse the weeks after the test. So it’s time to turn over a new leaf.

I am inviting you guys to come back for updates on how I am doing with my organization as well as to share their tips and tricks with me. Together we will organize the crap outta our lives!
